The land [in Canterbury] which Gilbert bought of Robert the goldsmith ('aurifaber'), lying between the land of William Cokin and Gilbert's land and the land which was of Denis de Rodinton' and Nicholas's land. Condition against tenure by religious men. For an annual payment of 15d, payable as specified. Made and recorded at the hundred court of Worthgate. For this Nicholas has also paid 32s as a gersum fine. No date. [Date: handwriting and witnesses to other Canterbury charters.]
