John is to receive seisin of a messuage, 2 mills, 195 acres of land, 20 acres and 1 rood of meadow, 35 acres of pasture, 11½ acres of wood, annual payment of 10s 7d, 7 hens, 10 eggs, 2 bushels and 3 pecks of salt and a moiety of a messuage and a garden in Kent with which Alexander Hanekyn, clerk, has enfeoffed the priory, lying in divers places in Kent as specified in his charter. [Edward III's licence to Alexander shows that the lands are in Ickham, Westwell, Linton, Eastry, Mersham, Little Chart, Hackington, Brook, Appledore, Old Romney, the vill of Stone next Ospringe, the vill of St Martin's outside Canterbury, Great Chart, Chartham, the vill of SS Cosmus and Damian [Blean] and the suburb of Canterbury.] Given at the chapter house of Canterbury Cathedral Priory.
