Part of property description and some witnesses' names supplied from registered versions.] The gift which Goldwin the mercer ('Goldwinus mercerius'), citizen of Canterbury, made of land with buildings on it in St Mary Breadman parish [Canterbury], lying with the stone house which was of Samuel the dyer ('tinctor') to north, the house of Robert de hottewelle to south, a lane which goes to the River Stour and the king's highway to east and the River Stour to west. He also quitclaims to the priory for the right in the land which fell to him through Goldwin. Made and recorded at the archbishop of Canterbury's capital court, the borough moot of the city of Canterbury and the hundred court of Worthgate ward. No date.
