To: the prior and chapter of Canterbury Cathedral Priory

Joan is bound to pay the priory an annual payment of 2s free rent for a light for the altar of the apostles Peter and Paul by St Anselm's shrine, payable as specified to the keeper appointed by the priory, for a tenement in St Mary Bredin parish, Canterbury, lying with the church to south, the tenement which was of John of St Peter's [in Canterbury] to north and the king's highway to west, which tenement Gilbert left to her by his testament. She holds the tenement of the priory and of its fee for the said annual payment and has paid the priory a pledge and relief for it. Sealed with the seal of the rural deanery of Canterbury [no longer present].
