Description | From: Henry son of William of Malling; Ediva, wife of Henry son of William of Malling To: the prior and convent of Canterbury Cathedral Priory
[Document damaged. Some witnesses' names supplied from registered versions.] The gift which Osbert de monasterio made of his messuage in Holy Cross Westgate parish [Canterbury]. For an annual payment of 4s 3d, payable as specified in the priory's treasury at Canterbury. Made and recorded at the borough moot of the city of Canterbury and the hundred court of Westgate. For this the priory has also paid 40s as a gersum fine. No date. [Date: handwriting and witnesses to other Canterbury charters.]
