A piece of land at the end of Milo's curtillage lying with the land of the heirs of William calvel to north and the land which was of John suetman upon which Samson the chaplain ('capellanus') placed a stone house to south, 40 feet wide and 27 feet long. Also another piece of land at the end of Milo's curtillage 11½ feet wide at the west end, 9½ feet wide in the middle and 7½ feet wide at the east end and 38½ feet long, next to the stone house. For annual payments of 2d in Milo's name to the nuns of St Sepulchre's [Priory, Canterbury] for wax in honour of the Virgin Mary, 1d in the names of Milo and Agatha his wife to the brothers of the Hospital of St John of Jerusalem ('Hospital ierosolimitan' scilicet sancti iohannis baptiste') [unidentified], and 1d to Milo, all payable as specified. Made and recorded at the hundred court of Worthgate. For this John and Mary have paid 22s 8d as a gersum fine. No date. [Date: handwriting and witnesses to other Canterbury charters.]
