Description | From: Stephen I, king of England
Addressed to his justices and sheriffs in whose areas of authority the cathedral priory holds land. Ordering that the priory should hold its lands, men and possessions well and freely, as it did under his ancestors and Henry I. A[ubrey] de Ver will ensure this. No date. [Date: Cronne and Davis, as below.] Given at Fareham [Hampshire].
