St Sepulchre's Priory has admitted Joan Bryan to its community ('societas') and granted her the veil and habit of a nun, the see of Canterbury being vacant. This grant is not intended to be to the prejudice of the archbishop of Canterbury or the church or Canterbury in the future, whether the see is full or vacant. Reserving to the priory the ancient and approved customs which it has used hitherto, whether the see of Canterbury is full or vacant.
Given at the chapter house of St Sepulchre's Priory, Canterbury.
