An annual payment of 2s free rent in St Sepulchre's parish, Canterbury, which he bought of Peter the dealer in flasks ('ampullarius'), payable as specified by the heirs of John son of William of 'Chalcdane' for land lying with Peter's land to east and the land of Richard piete to west. For an annual payment of 1d as a quit-rent ('forisgabulum') to Peter, payable as specified. The grant is made for a light for the shrines of St Alphege and St Dunstan in the cathedral church. No date. [Date: handwriting and witnesses to other Canterbury charters.]
