Addressed to the inhabitants of the city of Canterbury. Baldwin has granted Wibert, I, subprior of Canterbury Cathedral Priory, the land which Sired held of William calvellus, Baldwin's father, and afterwards of Baldwin, which lies near the gate of St Sepulchre's [Priory, Canterbury] to south, next to the bar, containing 1 acre and 1 virgate of land, for which Sired paid an annual rent of 5s and a present of 4 hens. Made before the convent and the hall moot of the priory's cellarer. The grant is made with the consent of Baldwin's sons, William and Stephen, who were present at the agreement. Dated 1149, no month.
