Helt's land in St Mary Queengate parish ('Queningate'), lying between the land of Richard, Helt's uncle, the land of Simon, Helt's brother, the king's highway, the stone wall of the monks of Canterbury Cathedral priory and the land which was of Walter the clerk, together with an annual payment of 4d free rent, payable as specified by the heirs of Walkelin the mercer ('mercerius') for a messuage before the gate of St Augustine's [Abbey], Canterbury, outside the walls of the city of Canterbury. For an annual payment of 1d as a quit-rent ('forgabulum'), payable as specified on the said tenement. For this Richard has also paid 10s as a gersum fine. No date.
