The abbey grants the priory a plot of land which was of Walter the cook ('cocus'), lying in the city of Canterbury with the priory's tenement to north and west, the tenement of the rector of Queengate ('Quenyngate') church to south and the king's highway to east, which land pays 3s a year to the abbey. In exchange, the priory grants the abbey 1½ acres of land lying in the suburb of Canterbury with the abbey's land to east and south, the king's highway to west and the tenement of the archbishop of Canterbury to north, which land renders 3s a year to the priory.
