A messuage in St Mary Queengate parish ('Queningate') [Canterbury] lying between the land which was of Joseph son of Roberga and the land of Pavia daughter of Walter Clare together with the land which Pavia granted him in the said parish, lying between the land of Roberga's heirs and the land of Richard Tailur, lying between ('inter iaceo') Pavia's messuage against the wall of the city. For annual payments of 24d to the heirs of Thomas de Dene son of William for the messuage, 7d to Pavia for the land and 1d as a quit-rent ('forsigabulum') to Robert in the priory's treasury, all payable as specified. Made and recorded in the hundred court of Northgate ward. For this the priory has paid 15 marks as a gersum fine. The grant is made with the consent of Beatrix daughter of Robert Polein, Robert son of Ralph's wife. Sealed with the seals of Robert and Beatrix. No date.
