Description | From: Hamo son of William le bof To: Canterbury Cathedral Priory
His land which lies outside the wall of the city [of Canterbury] between Queningate and Burgate which Æilweker le vanur held. The monks may hold the land as freely as he and his ancestors held it and answer to no-one for it. The grant is made for the love of St Thomas and for William's soul and the souls of his parents and heirs. No date. [Date: handwriting.]
