Depositions of John wildbore alias Dygon', aged 75, former monk of St Augustine's Abbey, [Canterbury,] Edward Mynge alias Bennet, aged 73, John Twyne, alderman of the city of Canterbury, aged 58, and Edward Brooke, aged 60, former clerk of the kitchen to the abbot and convent of St Augustine's Abbey, relating to the tithes of St Paul's rectory [Canterbury]. Evidence about the ownership of the tithes by St Augustine's Abbey and the appointment of monks of the abbey as wardens of St Laurence's Hospital. Twyne gives detailed evidence about property belonging to the rectory and refers to ancient accounts made by the wardens.
