Sense unclear in places.] For a tenement with a barn upon it, 18 acres of land and 2 acres of meadow lying separately, of which the tenement with the barn lies at 'Pocokkeston'' [in or near St Martin's parish, Canterbury] with the land of the prior and convent of Canterbury Cathedral Priory to west, the king's highway to east, the priory's land and the land late of John Kilby, barbour ('dictus Barbour'), to south and the land late of John Kilby to north, 10 acres of land lie in a croft with ditches ('fossatus') with the tenement to north, 3 acres of land lie with the tenement and the tenement late of John Edmund' to south, 2½ acres of land lie at 'Pocokkeston'' with the priory's land to south, north and west and the king's highway to east, 4 acres of land lie at 'Horsfold'' with the land late of Edmund Stablegate to south and west and the priory's land to east, and 2 acres of meadow lie at 'Schettyngescrouche' with the land of the heirs of John Quefye to north, west and south and the king's highway to east.
