For a payment of 10s by Thomas, rector of St Peter's church, Canterbury, the king grants Richard de Langedon' of Canterbury licence to give Thomas a messuage adjoining the church as his dwelling-house and the dwelling-house of his successors as rector and grants Thomas licence to accept the gift, the statute of mortmain notwithstanding. Sent patent. The clerk is Hierne. 'Kanc'' and a column of 5 dots on plica to right. Given at Westminster [Middlesex]. |
