The annual payment [of 12s ½d] which the priory has in St Mary Northgate parish in the suburb of Canterbury at 'Froxepol' of the sale of the said William and Denise, payable as specified by Cecilia, daughter of Walter bues, sister of Denise, Felicia's mother, Geoffrey veysyn, Beatrix de Froxepole, Robert, door-keeper of the priory cemetery ('Janitor Cimiterii sancte Trinitatis Cant'') and Philip the smith ('Faber') for the tenements mentioned in William and Denise's charter. Also an annual payment of 23d free rent payable by the heirs of Alan the fisherman ('piscator') of the sale of William and Denise. Felicia also grants and quitclaims to the priory for an annual payment of 12d which William and Denise retained from the rents, payable as specified by the monk who is keeper ('custos') of the altars of St Alphege and St Dunstan for the light of which the rents were especially assigned. So that henceforth the priory shall have all the rents, amounting to 13s 11½. For an annual payment of a clove, payable as specified by the keeper of the altars. Made and recorded before the alderman of Northgate. For this the priory has also paid 3s as a gersum fine by 'Dominus' Roger of St Alphege, keeper of the altars.
