2 shares of a barn, a garden adjoining it and another garden lying outside the north gate of the said city in a place called 'Borisars', also 2 shares of 18 acres of land lying separately in fields next to a place called 'le Olde vyne', which 2 shares he purchased of Edmund son of of Edmund of Stablegate [in Canterbury]. Of which the barn and adjoining garden lie with the land of the prior and convent of Canterbury Cathedral Priory to west and north, the messuage of John Bakere to south and the king's highway to east, the other garden lies with the priory's meadow and garden to west and north and the garden of the prior and convent of St Gregory's Priory, Canterbury, to south, 1 piece of the land lies in the place called 'Bisshopisfeld' with the cathedral priory's land to north, a common way to south and east and the king's highway to west, another piece of land lies with the cathedral priory's land called 'le Olde vyne' to east, a common way to west and south and the land of John Stace to north and a croft lies with the cathedral priory's land to north, south and west and a common way to east.
