For a tenement with an adjoining garden in St Mary Northgate parish in the city of Canterbury in a place called Old Ruttington Lane ('Trotyngtonlane'), lying with the land and tenement of Peter Russhell' to north, the king's highway to east, the land and tenement of Alice Barnys to south and the garden of the prior and convent of St Gregory's Priory, Canterbury, to west. Roger Brent then being mayor of the city of Canterbury.
