The tenement with buildings on it which was of Henry, her husband, and her, which she had of Henry's gift, feoffment and legacy, lying in St Mary Northgate parish next to Broad Street ('Brodestrete') in the suburb of Canterbury with the tenement of William the scribe ('scriptor'), the land of Helewise Charles, the land of Thomas le Palefrior, the land of Alan de Infirmaria, the land of Alice le Gardiner and Nicholas of Acrise, the land of Celestria of Sandwich and the land of Thomas le Pelcher to east, the tenement and land of the prior and convent of St Gregory's Priory to west, the wall of St Gregory's Priory to north and the king's highway to south. For annual payments of 5s 1½d to the prior and convent of Canterbury Cathedral Priory and 1d to Amy as a quit-rent ('forgabulum'), both payable as specified upon the same tenement. For this Henry son of Roger of 'Menefelde' has paid 14 marks as a gersum fine. Two rows of dots, perhaps representing calculations, on plica.
