DescriptionFrom: Thomas Brouns, bishop of Norwich

Made between 'Dominus' John Nevill, vicar of Bramford [Suffolk], and Battle Abbey, appropriator of the church and patron of the vicarage, concerning tithes and other property and payments. The abbey must support chaplains to serve the chapels of Burstall and St Albert which are annexed to Bramford.
Made in triplicate. Final clauses omitted. Notes in another hand that document made in 1442[/3] and sealed with the seals of the abbey and the bishop. No date. [Date: handwriting.]
