An annual payment of 20½d which Robert son of Edwin of South Barham ('Suthberham') and Emma his wife sold to him. Of this, Gilbert the weaver of 'Snakestun' used to pay him 16½d for 1 acre of land lying with the plot ('placea') to east, the land of Warren de la broke to west, Gilbert's messuage to north, and the gate ('porta') of the heirs of Simon Grave to south. Roger de Scheme used to pay 4d for a perch of land lying with the land of the heirs of Eustace de Worthe to south, the land of Simon's heirs to north, Warren's land to east, and 'hostrete' to west. For the lighting and other uses of the altar of the Blessed Virgin Mary in the nave of the priory church. No date. [Date: handwriting.]
