Description	Party: Richard of Bovington Party: Walter son of Henry le Meller of Bocking Walter holds from Richard of Osbert's fee a messuage in Bocking for an annual payment of 5½d. The prior and convent of Canterbury Cathedral Priory demand more than this payment, and Walter agrees to to pay ½d more per year. Richard to have right of distraint if payment of ½d in arrears. Richard will acquit Walter for, and defend him against, any demands made by the prior and convent for the land. Richard's part of indenture. Given at Bocking [Essex]. Witnesses: William Morel; Oliver of Bovington; William le Clerk; Bartholomew Lyoun; Roger son of Reginald; John Lucas Endorsed with contemporary description.
