That he owes the priory 4s annually for 13 acres with a messuage in Garrington [('Garewinton') in Littlebourne], which he inherited after the death of Elveva, his mother. Lying in the 100 acres of land of Garrington, for which the priory receives 8s 4d annually as gavel rent. He places this land as surety for the payment. This was made in the 'capitalis curia' of the priory. For this the priory has paid 2½ marks as a gersum fine.
