DescriptionAccount of proceedings in the case between Richard de Feringes, archdeacon, and the cathedral priory on 7 Jun at St Paul's Cathedral. These were witnessed by John de Sevenok', Oliver de Bructon', Walter de schokebroke, Walter de Weston', Roger de Walton', clerks, and others.
Philip de Barton', canon of Lichfield, and Roger of Rothwell, archdeacon of Bedford, were acting as papal judges delegate. Philip was absent. Includes petitions made by Hugh de Derby, clerk, proctor for Mgr George de Interampn', the priory's proctor in the Roman court. Concerns delays in the proceedings. With response by Roger.
Recites letter, dated 21 Jun 1298, at St Gregory's Priory, Canterbury, from the prior of St Gregory's Priory in response to the mandate to him, recited, from Roger and Philip, dated 26 Apr, at London. The judges ordered him to cite the parties to appear at St Paul's Cathedral on 7 Jun. Reporting on his actions.Written by Adam son of Adam Swayny de Boterwyk, 'dictus' de Lyndes', of Lincoln diocese, notary public.

Endorsed with descriptions and 'citatio' in 14th cent hands. Described as the processus of the eighth day.
