'Protestationes' addressed by William de Ronceby, proctor for the abbey, to Mgr William de Sarden', official of the Court of Canterbury, Mgr Martin [de Hampton], commissary of Canterbury, Mgr Anselm of Eastry, and Mgr William de Suanton. No date.
Mandate from Pope Boniface VIII to the abbots of Bury St Edmunds, Waltham and Westminster to cite the archbishop to appear at Rome. The pope has appointed John, cardinal priest of SS Marcellinus and Peter as auditor. Inhibition clause. Dated 4 Jul 1299, at Anagni.
