DescriptionAccount of proceedings on 19 Jan 1298 at Canterbury in the case between Richard de Feringes, archdeacon, and the cathedral priory.
Gives account of petition made to Roger of Rothwell by Mgr Thomas de Reynes, the archdeacon's proctor, and Roger's reply. Recites Thomas's subsequent appeal to Rome.
This was witnessed by Mgr Richard de Haute, Richard de Clyve, priory monk, and Mgr Robert de Patrica, notary public.
Notarial sign of Adam son of Adam Swayny de Boterwik, 'dictus' de Lyndes', of Lincoln diocese, notary public, who wrote the document.

Endorsed with description in contemporary hand.
