DescriptionAccount of proceedings in the case between Richard de Feringes, archdeacon, and the cathedral priory on 18 Jan 1298 at the cathedral priory.
Recites statement made by Roger of Rothwell, one of the judges. This was made before Adam, Prior Henry [of Eastry], Ralph de Adesham and Robert Poucyn, priory monks, and John de Reydon, priory proctor. Includes letter from Roger to Philip de Barton', his fellow judge. These things were witnessed by Walter de Weston', William de Tesdale, William Beloysel, Henry de Sevenok and John de Gaydinton', clerks, and Mgr Robert de Patrica, notary public.
With notarial sign of Adam son of Adam Swayny de Boterwik, 'dictus' de Lyndes', of Lincoln diocese, notary public, who wrote the document.

Endorsed with descriptions in 14th cent hands. Described as the proceedings of the third day.
