Description(1) Copy of the settlement for a trust for the poor of Ashford parish set up by Thomas Turner, DD, president of Corpus Christi College [Oxford, son of Thomas Turner, dean of Canterbury]. Gives date of settlement as 20 March 1702/3. [Original release of land dated 26 Mar 1702. See DCc-BB/65/45-46.] Copy made 9 Mar 1707/8.
(2) Draft order by G[errard] A[ndrewes], dean, and H[oustonne] R[adcliffe], archdeacon, concerning the funds of the trust. 1809x1822. No date. [Date: dates of Andrewes and Radcliffe.]
(3) Extract from settlement, with additional phrase referring to educational system of Dr [Andrew] Bell called the 'Madras System'. On dorse, 'Combination 1811'.
