Many blanks left in copy. Declaration that the church of Aylsham in Norwich diocese was was given to Battle Abbey, Chichester diocese, by Pandulph, bishop of Norwich, by a document dated at 'Tybu'' on 28 Jun 1225. This was ratified by William, prior of Norwich Cathedral Priory, and its convent, by a document witnessed by Mgr Alan Beccles, Arthur 'S..b..' and the official of Norwich, Mgr Nicholas de Hunton, and Humphrey the chaplain of 'derb'', dated at Norwich on 3 Aug 1225. Both documents were sealed with green wax. He cites them and declares them to be authentic. Witnessed by Mgr John Gerbert and John ('Weis' deleted, followed by blank), notary/ies public of Exeter and Llandaff dioceses. With subscription by James Cole, clerk of Norwich diocese, notary public, scribe to Lynwode. Dated 13 Jun 1429at St Mary Arches, London.
