All the land which came to him after the death of his late mother. Lying in Appledore parish, of the priory's tenement, with the king's highway to east, and the land of Simon de bristoue to west. Condition against tenure by religious houses. After Henry's death the land will remain to Matilda, Henry's wife. For an annual payment of 1d quitrent ('forisgabulum') in the churchyard of St Peter and St Paul's in Appledore. For this grant Henry has paid 30s as a gersum fine. No date. [Date: handwriting.
