Recommending Mr [Edward] Roman for the living of [St Michael] Queenhithe, London, the incumbent of which, Dr [John] Horden, has died or is about to die. Roman was Horden's curate for 3 years before being vicar of Bromley for the past 5 years [1686-1690]. He has the approval of Dr [Thomas] Blomar and probably of Dr [John] Aucher, Mr [Leopold William] Finch and Mr [Thomas] Nixon [all prebendaries]. [Date: Horden died in 1690. Roman was not appointed to the living.]
