He has been imprisoned because of a debt due to Mr Richard Poyson for hanging the bell [Great Dunstan] which he cast for the cathedral in Dec 1663. He has in his time worked for Charles II. The Dean and Chapter have considered his case and have offered to pay some of the sum due.
