Description	From the King and Lords of the Privy Council who order that James Lawrence (soldier in Capt. Whaley's company in HRH's regiment of foot) who lost his sight 18th May 1678 between Ostend and Bruges be admitted in the next available Almsman's place. Note on back from J. Tillotson Dean of C'bury requiring a mandate from HM that J.L be admitted according to the date of the Order not withstanding letters since granted to others (Six on waiting list).
