DescriptionBox 49 contains letters concerning the Dean and Chapter's lands in and around Romney marsh, particularly in the parishes of Appledore and Fairfield. Several relate to the enclosure of land in Appledore and there are many letters and papers concerning the lease of Fairfield manor and rectory, which was let on a term of three lives.
