Description	Box 29 holds leases for a tenement in St Alphege and various papers relating to properties in the city. These include a few rent receipts, and some eighteenth century plans of lands and buildings owned by the Dean and Chapter. There are also papers concerned with the boundaries of the precincts and with the supply of gas and water to the area in the period 1865-1875. Correspondence in the box includes letters from the rector of Ickham and also from the Ecclesiastical Commission. The latter were involved in the sale of Chapter properties in Canterbury in 1857-1861. The box list written by J B Sheppard in 1874-1895 is also contained within the box.
