Description	Version of AddMs-141. Miss Helmore was the daughter of F J O Helmore, minor canon, sacrist and precentor for nearly 50 years. According to AddMs-141, this is the text for a lecture given in Feb 1961 to the Women's Guild of which Miss Helmore was a founder member. The reminiscences give details of services in her father's time and other anecdotes about life in the Precincts 1878-1938. At front, copy of photograph of Canon and Mrs Helmore taken in 1928.
