| Description | Writer: Pearce, William, surveyor, of Kent Pearce and Kent, Craig's Court, London
Having met with Mr Alcock, he has discovered that the Marble Hall held by Mr Wagstaffe is not the same Marble Hall as one held by Mr Hodgkinson as part of the Cumberland Tea Gardens and occupied by a Mr Bertrand, although it is nearby. However, the South London Water Works' purchase will obstruct Mr Wagstaffe's right of way, and this may cause a problem, although Mr Alcock claims that under the original lease granted to Sir Jospeh Mawbey no such right of way was shown.
