Informing him that the Bill for the London to Greenwich railway has passed the House of Commons. On behalf of Mr Cox, through whose property, held from the Dean and Chapter, the railway will pass, he requests that the Archbishop of Canterbury and other bishops are asked to use their influence in the House of Lords to have an amendement added to the Bill concerning compensation in the parish of St Olave, Southwark. The Bill currently only covers compensation in the parish of St Mary Magdalen, Bermondsey. A copy of the relevant amendment is included.
